Our distinctive services encompass being a MillerKnoll dealer, among other leading furniture lines. We are currently seeking a Furniture Procurement Specialist to aid in budget creation, generate purchase orders, schedule and coordination installations, and undertake various other tasks for our diverse clientele in finance, retail, and hospitality sectors. **Skills**: - Understanding of Dealer Design Industry and furniture purchasing - Proficient reviewing of furniture plans/installation drawings - Proficient in navigating furniture manufacturers' websites and price books - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail **Responsibilities**: - Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously - Assist with providing information to establish project budgets - Issue purchase orders and change orders with manufacturers - Review manufacturers' acknowledgements for errors - Process manufacturers' invoices for payment - Schedule furniture installation for all projects, working closely with the build team - Attend site visits and final punch, along with preparing appropriate documentation - Collaborate with interior designers, furniture specialists, consultants, and build team on projects, providing guidance across all disciplines for furniture installation coordination - Review and resolve any furniture punch issues - Prepare documentation for the "Furniture Warranty" section distributed to clients - Perform all other related work, as assigned or as apparent **Expectations**: - Travel required at times to assist with site walkthroughs, furniture installations and final furniture punch **Prerequisites**: - Diploma in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred - Minimum two years of contract furniture procurement experience - Knowledge with 20/20 CAP Worksheet or similar procurement pricing software is preferred - Possession of a valid G driver's licence is required for rental cars **Why Our People Love Working at NewGround**: - NewGround values our employees, and we want everyone to have fun doing what they love.
