Air Inuit Management and its team of dedicated employees are committed to pursuing their tradition of providing safe, punctual and courteous air service for the growing number of people living and doing business in this enchanting region of Nunavik in Northern Québec.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in maintaining an inspection and preventative maintenance program for the mechanical components of the buildings;
- Assist the Building Manager with the management of all services in place for Air Inuit owned buildings;
- Participate in the creation and implementation of the preventative maintenance schedule;
- Follow-up on contracts awarded to various subcontractors and ensure the quality of their work;
- Manage various service contracts such as janitorial services, snow removal, landscaping and mechanical repair of the building, recycling of waste and used oil, security and parking management (visitor and employee);
- Ensure that the services specified in our tenants’ leases are completed in a timely manner and that the quality of the work meets their expectations;
- Develop and produce relevant reports to management;
- Promptly handle urgent requests from our customers;
- Perform staffhouse, cargo and hangar inspections and write inspection reports;
- Participate in the development projects of continuous improvements to the buildings;
- Administer the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) program;
- Assist in the maintenance of the building emergency plan;
- Participate in the preparation of budgets and track expenditures;
- Replace the Building Manager in their absence;
- Carry out all other related tasks.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
- Motivated, ability to work independently;
- Ability to monitor budgets and control project costs;
- Ability to work with computer software such as Microsoft Word, MS Office, OneNote, PowerPoint;
- Bilingual - spoken/written (French and English);
- College diploma in administration and/or building services technology - or equivalent experience an asset;
- General knowledge of electricity, plumbing, HVAC systems and carpentry;
- Ability to perform minor repairs;
- Five (5) years of relevant experience;
- Holds a valid drivers license;
- Available to work occasionally outside of normal business hours;
- Available to travel to Nunavik on a regular basis.
**REMUNERATION**
