**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Services Support**:

- Proactively follow up on pending cases to meet service standards.
- Ensure timely and compliant processing of policy issuance and settlements.
- Provide advisors with updates on policy cases and assist with solutions for potential issues.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage and billing.
- Maintain electronic client files, ensuring all documents and paperwork are accurately logged.
- Provide backup support to team members during absences.
- Prepare annual commission reports for auditors.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as required.

**Mortgage Agent Support**:

- Assist clients in gathering and verifying financial information to determine their borrowing capacity and mortgage product eligibility.
- Prepare accurate loan documents, ensuring all paperwork meets regulatory standards and company policies.
- Present and explain various mortgage options to clients, helping them select the best product for their financial needs.
- Monitor and manage rate locks to secure the most favorable rates for clients within the lock period.
- Proactively source new clients through various channels, including attending industry events, leveraging social media platforms, and networking within the community to build relationships and expand the client base.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.
- Current valid LLQP license or must be in final stage of obtaining license.
- Level 2 Mortgage Agent License or in process of obtaining Level 2 license.
- Knowledge of financial and insurance terminology and products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as a team player.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- LLQP (preferred)
- Mortgage Agent Level 2 Licence (required)
