**Position Description**

The Business Analyst is an outgoing, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills. You will be responsible for preparing business and technical requirements for the Horizon Host ERP system which includes capabilities relating to merchandising, finance, logistics/warehouse, reporting, and Electronic Data interchange. This will be accomplished through customer-facing discussions, self-driven analysis of current process flows, and any other requirement elicitation techniques that are applicable. The role will be supported by Horizon’s cross-functional team including developers, architects, quality assurance, and a technical writer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze, facilitate, and develop the documentation of business and technical requirements for the Horizon Host Retail ERP system
- Elicit requirements using customer interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, use cases or user stories, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis
- Create concise yet detailed functional specification documentation and process flow diagrams
- Partner with developers, architects, and other technical resources to design efficient and scalable technology solutions
- Develop deep functional knowledge of the Horizon Host ERP product including the merchandising, finance, logistics, reporting, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integration
- Contribute to the Horizon Host ERP product roadmap and future direction of the product suite
- Build strong, long-term working relationships with key stakeholders at Horizon’s customers and vendors
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Customer-facing verbal and communication skills including the ability to present to customers in-person or via web conference (webinar)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ERP and Retail Management systems
- Ability to multi-task and deliver based on assigned deadlines
- Excellent team player who can thrive in a collaborative and geographically dispersed environment

**Education and Work Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst working in a customer-facing role with ERP software or a Retail Management System
- Familiarity with IBM AS400, IBM RPG, SQL, and/or EDI processes is preferred

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
