HSABC’s goal to ending homelessness is embedded within the right to adequate housing and acknowledges the _Indigenous Definition of Homelessness in Canada_. Furthermore, HSABC is committed to deliberately and meaningfully include those with lived and living experience of homelessness in decision-making and ensure all actions contribute to decolonization and anti-discrimination.

**The Challenge**

HSABC is a Members-driven organization. Front-line workers, managers and senior-leadership within shelters, drop-in and outreach programs across BC look to us for high-quality learning opportunities, both on-line and in-person. - Work with and external consultant to design a digital strategy focused on improving efficiency and ease in our Membership and training operations.
- Work with the _Training and Communications Coordinator_ to plan for in-person trainings and plan for four in-person events to be scheduled between April 1st, 2025, to March 31st 2026.
- Engage with Members regarding Membership renewal and supporting access to training opportunities.

**Within six months, you will**
- Explore opportunities to promoting safe and accessible spaces in shelters, drop-in, and outreach programs through high-quality in-person training and events.
- Review HSABC’s Membership services and value-proposition and identify additional ways to build Members’ organizational capacity.

**Commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion**

To address issues of systemic inequity within Canada and specifically within the Canadian labour market, HSABC is committed to achieving a diverse workforce through inclusive Human Resource practices in all aspects of employment including recruitment, hiring and promotions.
