HR Generalist

Accurate Network Services is on the hunt for an HR Generalist to build and support a thriving people experience by owning key HR programs (career planning, onboarding, engagement, and policies) while executing recruiting and HR administration with consistency and care. This role is an excellent stepping stone into higher level HR roles in the future

**Key Accountabilities**
- ** Recruiting & Onboarding**
- Own the full cycle of recruiting (job postings, screening, scheduling, offers).
- Ensure onboarding experience aligns with Accurate’s brand, culture, and AIM journey.
- Maintain hiring scorecards and process documentation.
- **Career Planning Program**
- Design, maintain, and continuously improve the Career Planning program.
- Equip Directors with tools, templates, and prompts for effective career conversations.
- Track participation and outcomes, ensuring alignment with company growth.
- **Policy & Compliance**
- Review and update HR policies and employee handbook regularly.
- Ensure compliance with employment standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Anticipate policy updates instead of waiting for direction.
- **People & Culture Programs**
- Drive employee engagement initiatives (recognition, feedback, culture events).
- Support Directors with tools/resources for employee development and retention.
- Partner with leadership to reinforce Accurate’s mission: _Better the lives of the people we work with._
- **Admin**
- Maintain employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process Benefit enrolments, in collaboration with Director of Administration

**Success Looks Like**
- Onboarding feels seamless, welcoming, and consistent.
- Career Planning program is structured, running on schedule, and valued by both Directors and employees.
- HR policies are current, clear, and up-to-date without needing CEO prompts.
- Employee engagement initiatives are visible, consistent, and contribute to morale.
- Payroll and HR records are accurate and handled confidentially.
- Knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and best practices
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Great attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft365 suite

**You'll be a great fit if**:

- You have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related field
- You're working towards a CPHR designation
- You have at least 2 years experience in HR with exposure to full cycle recruitment and HR process
- You have experience with BambooHR - this is considered an asset not a requirement don't worry
