**DEPARTMENT**

Group Care

**QUALIFICATIONS**

RECE - College of ECE Membership (preferably)

**SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE**
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- Police Records Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector
- Up-To-Date immunizations
- Oral and written fluency in English is required
- Strong team communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Computer experience in MS Word and Excel
- Experience relating directly to parents/caregivers
- Experience with and sensitivity to all cultures and socio-economic groups
- Ability to be flexible with changes
- Acting as a role model for co-workers and students by promoting positive relationships in the work environment and setting professional goals and objectives for the program
- Able to lift 30 pounds.
- Able to keep up, physically, with active children

**SHIFT**

Rotating dependent on needs of program

**HOURS**

7.5 hours daily

**WORK WEEK**

Monday to Friday

**RATE OF PAY**

**Untrained**-$18.36(probation rate) + Wage Enhancement grant +yearly wage increases as per the Collective Agreement + benefits

**Trained-** $20.55(probation rate) + Wage enhancement grant + yearly wage increases as per the Collective Agreement + benefits + payment for renewal of College’s RECE membership.
