Nepean, Canada Stepping UP Daycare Inc. Full time

Stepping UP is known as Ottawa's Best Daycare which is located on the West End of Ottawa. We are looking to add a professional and fun Educator to our team. Applicant will be joining our amazing and vibrant group of Toddlers. Our Toddler 1 classroom serves 14 children between the ages of 18 months an and 2.5 yes old We follow the play
- based emergent programming and strongly encourage independence in them building self help skills as well as strong communication skills so they feel confident and capable as the grow and develop

The selected applicant must be able to collaborate effectively with their teaching partner, be an effective communicator as well as being detailed oriented. They must also have strong leadership skills and be able to delegate when needed. This position require the Educator to take initiative and be able to prioritize tasks as well as have the ability to multi task. Successful applicant must be flexible, positive, patient and have a love of learning alongside the children. Applicant must have a strong understanding of the CCEYA guidelines and hold the responsibility of keeping their classroom paperwork up to date.

Successful Applicant must have a criminal reference check no older then 6 months, valid Standard CPR and First Aid as well as an up-to-date immunization record. Registered Early Childhood Educator is preferred but not essential.

**Salary**: $17.85-$19.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
