Product Development Coordinator

The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the development and execution of the company’s product portfolio. This includes managing the development process for new products, ensuring products are in compliance with all applicable regulations, and ensuring that all products are compliant with quality standards. The Product Development Coordinator will also be responsible for the development of new product lines, including new packaging materials and new packaging designs.

**Essential Functions**:

- Manage product development process from concept to production
- Liaise with BMS Factory departments in China to ensure that all products are developed in compliance with global quality standards
- Work with Project Managers to ensure that projects are executed on time and on budget
- Manage project portfolio by managing multiple projects at once, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality throughout each project
- Collaborate with Project Managers and graphics department to ensure projects are executed on time and on budget
- Maintain product inventory including product samples, samples for special promotions, samples for trade shows, samples for retail stores, samples for wholesale accounts, samples for direct sales accounts, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Must be able to communicate changes in design concepts between our offices domestically and internationally.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a strong asset

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

- Brampton, ON L6T 5G2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
