**JOB SUMMARY**

To remove (eject) moulded parts from the machine in a safe and efficient manner in order to efficiently produce quality and cost-effective parts. To operate the fixtures, and/or finishing parts and assembly fixtures in a safe manner in order to efficiently produce quality and cost-effective parts.

All duties are carried out in the spirit of promoting a co-operative work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are standard. Also, to contribute to a human work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Good communication skills - written, verbal, reading
- Good Mathematical and English Skills
- Ability to lift 20 pounds to 30 pounds, and do repetitive tasks standing up
- Experience working in Manufacturing company
- Flexibility to cover shifts /overtime as required (Weekends and Weekdays)
- Possesses a positive attitude in adapting and implementing change
- Promotes and participates in Safety initiatives

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Follow safety instructions, safety manual and personnel safety guide.
- Performs visual and physical instructions to ensure that all production pieces and related packaging meet quality standards
- Inform Team Leader when quality and/or equipment problems occur
- Trim and inspect parts
- Meeting daily production standards for your machine
- Performs all duties as outlined in the Production Operator’s job description
- Ensures that all boxes with finished or unfinished goods are properly completed and labelled correctly
- Ensures completion of safety checklists
- Participates in Accident/Incident Investigations - making recommendations to improve safety
- Other duties as assigned

**Salary**: $17.00-$17.75 per hour
