We are currently seeking a **Security Technician **to join the Lifeline team.

**Term**: Full Time Permanent

**Location**: 50 Casmir Ct, Concord

**Wage**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide solutions to system problems by troubleshooting the system or advising others on how to resolve problems. Requires thorough understanding of core and third-party security products, software and systems / electrical technology.
- Configure security systems, which utilize both core and third-party security products and systems / electrical technology as defined by the project specification or on retrofit projects while maintaining quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a consistent commitment to following best practices in all safety procedures
- Communicate actively and professionally, including project updates and providing Daily Reports, and follow the project schedule
- Perform cabling, installing, powering up, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including but not limited to Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Intrusion Systems
- Diagnose and repair security systems
- Provide training to clients
- Complete detailed and accurate paperwork

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ Years experience with CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion
- Knowledgeable in Access Control, CCTV, Door Operators, Intercom, Telephone Entry Burglary/Intrusion systems, EMT and PVP Piping
- Knowledge of ULC standards would be an asset
- Comfortable with working at heights using extension ladders and aerial lifts
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected circumstances
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Drivers full G License
- Must provide criminal record check and driver's abstract
