**Admin + Bookkeeping + Internal Ops + HR**

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Manage daily studio operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Full-cycle bookkeeping: AR/AP, payroll, GST, reconciliations, CRA remittances
- Financial reporting and invoicing
- Purchase orders, vendor management, and cost tracking
- Manage supplier coordination and ordering (across Metric Design and MetricLy)
- Office organization, systems, and supply management
- Inventory controls and logistics management & coordination
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely payment for all employees.
- HR - Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to build a strong team.
- HR administration
- vacation tracking, onboarding, timesheets, policy implementation, employee file management, reviews
- Scheduling support and internal communication management
- Support contracts and formatting of key documentation
- Handle basic IT and problem-solving around office systems
- Lead and motivate a team of staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee sales initiatives, including promoting studio services and products to maximize revenue.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize studio workflow.

**Skills & Background**:

- 5+ years of experience in admin/bookkeeping (ideally in a service or project-based business)
- Familiarity with recruiting, interviewing, and training processes is preferred.
- Experience with HR administration and comfortable handling confidential employee matters
- QuickBooks Online, comfortable with software, and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Highly organized, confident with spreadsheets, clear communicator
- Comfortable managing supplier relationships and tracking large volumes of orders
- Capable of juggling varied tasks and improving systems as the business grows
- Proven experience in management is essential.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A passion for the arts or wellness industry is a plus, but not mandatory.

At Metric, we offer flexibility, allowing this position to accommodate some work from home and be 3-5 days per week.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
