The Parts & Service Business Manager is responsible for managing the Service and Parts business to deliver the annual budget for both revenue and gross margin. Leadership and management of the Mobile and Industrial Technical Service Advisor’s (TSA's), Field Service Manager, and Service Schedulers are core accountabilities for the Parts & Service Business Manager. This position also works closely with Shred-Tech’s leadership team, as well as directly engaging with our customers via in-person and/or virtual meetings.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage, motivate and be responsible for TSA’s, Field Service Manager and Schedulers.
- Drive for results to meet and exceed the annual budget for revenue and gross margin.
- Work with the Leadership team to establish, execute, and be accountable for strategies and plans to drive growth.
- Obtain market intelligence, recommend actions to maintain/grow competitive position and identify market opportunities.
- Utilize VOC (voice of customer) to ensure market requirements are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and provide revenue and parts and service forecasts.
- Coordinate the performance of customer training including input into training procedures and presentations.
- Contribute to development of Equipment Service Manuals.
- Attend trade shows and industry association meetings when required.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in Epicor of all activities.
- Maintain broad knowledge of company and partner products and their capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of competitor products to include service and parts sales.
- Maintains close working relationship with Mobile and Industrial Sales Managers to timing of future product launches, as well as feedback concerns and requests from prospects (VOC).
- Travel may be required.
- Develops customer relationships and fosters sustainable growth with Tier 1 customers.
- Develops and deploys detailed market driven plans based on industry segments.
- Directs focused customer growth based on the requirements of Shred-Tech’s business plan as developed by the President and senior staff.
- Develops detailed knowledge of customer base.
- Provides input to Leadership Team and creates complete solutions to customers that includes post-sale service beyond warranty term.
- Develops annual Service Sales Plan for input into the Annual Business Plan.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the shredding industry to support Shred-Tech’s growth and diversification and, also, to ensure that we are benchmarked in meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations.
- Works directly with the Sales Managers to maximize revenue, margin and strategic value to Shred-Tech.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proven track record of meeting quarterly and annual sales and profitability objectives in highly technical and/or heavy equipment industries.
- Periodic travel including driving, flying, and overnight travel; weekend travel may be required.
- Engineering experience is an asset.

**SPECIFIC SKILL ABILITY AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Build and develop key relationships across the enterprise
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual service strategies through superior customer service skills
- Develop and execute a strategy to drive repeatable business and long-term revenue opportunities including minimum margin requirements
- Sells solutions strategically to all levels within the organization
- Forecast parts and service volume
- Ensure the highest level of customer experience on each and every engagement
- Deliver and present persuasive presentations to audiences of all sizes and levels
- Communicate effectively at meetings, providing presentations, and in written documents
