**The Role**

The Administrative Assistant role will work closely with all members of the management team to ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner. Using excellent communication skills, the Administrative Assistant will keep the Plant Manager informed of all duties being actioned.

**Your Impact**
- Support to Plant Manager in systems administration. (ie. timecard review, data entry, follow-up on missing punches, etc), and general reporting
- Onboarding of new employees and organizing training requirements (ie. Orientation delivery, initial walk throughs).
- Take part in management meetings in an administrative capacity (i.e. agenda building, taking minutes, follow up on action items)
- Support the JHSC in an administrative capacity (i.e. meetings occur as per set schedule, follow up on action items, etc.)
- Project management in an administrative capacity (i.e. ensuring deadlines are met, scheduling and documenting meetings, following up on action items, etc.)
- Work with department leaders for personnel management (i.e. temp staffing, performance review drafting, performance management)
- Oversee job specific training matrix and notify applicable department heads when training is required/needs updating
- Ensure Bill of materials are up to date and coordinate with Inventory management personnel to ensure materials are on hand as per set production schedule
- Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.
- Other Duties as assigned in adherence to company GMP policies.

**About You**
- At least 1 year of post-secondary education or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions, in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Basic computing skills: Outlook, MS Office.
- Problem solving and organizational skills.
- Results oriented with focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Genuine passion for continuous learning and development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
