**The team**:
Genetec is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Specialist in our Technical Training team to develop, maintain and support virtual as well as physical learning tools, used by the various members of the Genetec Training Team. This position involves collaboration with internal teams, as well as worldwide training team members. In this role, you will be involved in automating certain processes, writing, and debugging different types of scripts/codes and participating in various support tasks for trainers or students.

You will be supported by a manager that will set you up for success by giving you the tools and training needed to be able to contribute to smaller projects soon after beginning.

**What your day will look like**:

- Create and maintain scripts for automating different processes
- Maintain and support cloud resources used in technical training courses and exams
- Work on the creation and closure of Azure DevOps Work Items
- Participate in the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) philosophy during the script creation process
- Participate in code reviews and pull requests
- Participate in script/bug testing
- Help design, build, and manage Azure Virtual Machines
- Update various tools incorporating students/trainers' feedback, course roadmaps and various product updates
- Support and help other members of the infrastructure and content team
- Help with exam grading
- Support trainers using learning tools in preparing and delivering courses
- Maintain documentation on various projects and scripts
- Participate in the creation of student guides for Partner Trainers

**About you**:

- Engineering background or similar certification
- Proficient in English and French
- Knowledge of PowerShell (or any similar scripting language)
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Minimal networking, database, and client-server knowledge
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring Windows PC
- Experience in reading/writing scripts
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Team spirit
- Can work under pressure
- Multitasking
