The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel operations during the night shift. This role combines the duties of a front desk agent, accounting procedures, and guest service representative. The Night Auditor ensures all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciles accounts, and provides excellent guest services to ensure a comfortable and seamless guest experience. The Night Auditor is responsible for the safety and security of the hotel guests, associates, and property during the overnight shift (11:00pm - 7:00am).

**Responsibilities**:

- Check in and check out guests efficiently and courteously.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about the hotel, available services, and other inquiries.
- Reconcile and balance all accounts for the day, ensuring accurate and complete financial records.
- Prepare and distribute daily management reports, including the daily revenue report and other key financial summaries.
- Process and verify payments, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment securely and accurately.
- Monitor the security of the hotel, ensuring all doors are locked and the property is secure.
- Conduct regular property walks to ensure safety and security standards are met.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and follow established protocols.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- One-year previous experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Proficiency in hotel software and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work over night shift, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Valid BC Driver's license required with the ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 or higher preferred

Pay: $23.82 per hour
