Magnone’s is an Italian Eatery in the Heart of The Blue Mountain Village. We pride ourselves on our genuine hospitality and back it up with quality cuisine that is sure to please. We are on the hunt for a positive bubbly person for our front door experience.

**Title of Position: Guest Service Agent /Host / Hostess**

You will be the first person the guest sees when they walk into the restaurant and that last one to interact with them on their way out. Your job is to manage seating of the restaurant with appropriate conversation along the way to their seat. Answering phones and taking reservations, managing the wait list and take out orders. Occasionally on busy nights you assist in running food, cleaning tables and resetting the restaurant.

**The Role**:

- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner as they arrive at the venue
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Follow Host Steps of Service to ensure consistent guest experience
- Effectively communicate with the team to manage reservations, guest walk-ins and guest arrival
- Knowledge of the reservation system to manage reservations
- Accurately input and quote wait times in the system
- Inform guests of any food or drink specials or special events that may be happening
- Knowledge of food and beverage menu offerings including common allergens
- Keep all work areas clean and organized including host stand
- Contribute to the sanitation and cleanliness of our Restaurant
- Effectively communicate with team and offer support as their needs may require
- Keeps an eye on the floor and anticipates the needs of guests and fellow team members
- Create Positive Shareable Experiences
- Other duties as assigned

- True passion for self development, must be coachable
- Exceptional customer service skills
- The ability to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the work place and always strive for 100% customer satisfaction
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to work calmly and effectively during high volume times
- Meet productivity standards and complete work using time efficiently
- Able to work on the weekends and holidays, including late nights
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays if necessary
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
