We are currently looking for a **Scheduler **to join our Operations team in Belleville, Ontario. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Scheduler is responsible for coordinating the inflation production, value added services, and all inbound and outbound deliveries through the Warehouse. This includes scheduling people, equipment as well as establishing the priority to meet the daily delivery targets.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
- Plan and group inbound and outbound deliveries using SAP
- Analyze sales forecast data and build production schedule that supports requirements
- Coordinate with Shift Supervisor to establish work flow, workload balance and identify any issues that may arise.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory values
- Track inbound and outbound delivery capacity based on manpower and business KPI’s
- Work closely with management to prioritize specific projects and provide feedback on current performance status against established KPI’s
- Provides coverage for Shift Supervisor during holidays, vacation, leaves and other absences
- Assist in training & monitoring staff in safe work practices, including new employee onboarding.
- Communicate with other supervisors and managers as required.
- Health & Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Equivalent combination of post-secondary education and directly related experience can be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years scheduling or planning in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
- Experience in warehousing and operational planning an asset
