**Job purpose**

Warehouse administrators oversee the management of inventory. Communication with various groups internally (warehouse staff, logistics team, drivers etc.) This particular role is handling the paperwork flow and driver coordination with warehouse team controlling yard access and over all time management of carriers coming and going.

This role includes receiving, issuing, and dispatching stock, and handling communication between freight companies and warehouse customers.

**Supplementary Pay**

There is a bonus structure based on employee work ethic as well as options for overtime.

**Summary**

In the role of an Entry Level Shipping and Receiving Admin, you will be an integral part of the logistics team, responsible for managing warehouse distribution, shipping, and order fulfillment. Utilizing core skills in warehouse operations and shipping & receiving, you will ensure efficient handling of goods. Your premium skills in forklift operation and warehouse management systems will enhance productivity. With relevant skills in order picking and packaging, you will contribute to the smooth flow of operations. Strong communication, computer skills, and attention to detail are essential for accurate data entry and providing excellent customer service. Time management skills will be crucial in meeting deadlines, maintaining a well-organized shipping, and receiving process.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Maintain all paperwork and records of each shipment, file and maintain for future reference
- Prepare outgoing orders, create shipping labels, BOL, and related paperwork
- File all inbound container related paperwork and facilitate communications with customers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain work area in a clean and safe condition, reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor or team lead.
- Work with other staff members to ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, prioritized and staged, with emphasis on accuracy
- Assist with coordinating all daily warehouse functions with Warehouse Supervisor and Team leaders.
- Provide shipping labels to parcels as warehouse operation requires
- Ensure orders are not duplicated and calling out any suspicious driver activity.
- Communicate with carriers and drivers.
- Check receiving outbound documents to ensure that orders are received properly from logistics team and carriers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week

Additional pay:
