**We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Resolute Health team in Bedford, Nova Scotia.**

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Resolute Group of companies in decision-making by conducting insightful data analysis, including review of KPIs, budget versus actual comparisons, and effective communication.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports, and other key metrics, utilizing data analytics tools and Excel.
- Assist managers in interpreting insights derived from data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with operational teams to analyze clinic financial results in preparation for lease renewals.
- Perform daily sales reporting by brand against budget, and analyze trends and fluctuations.
- Conduct monthly price/volume analysis and review gross margins by clinic and brand.
- Prepare monthly KPI reports for clinics and brands, providing explanations for variances to managers.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Development team to develop financial models and provide support for scenarios and sensitivities.
- Utilize financial and operational data from potential acquirees to populate models and templates for go/no-go decision-making.
- Assist in financial due diligence of potential acquirees, including reviewing and analyzing accounting records, conducting financial trend analyses, and documenting key financial processes.
- Serve as a liaison between the Finance team and various business departments and groups.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across departments to achieve organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to projects, processes, and operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

**Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Management; an M.B.A. would be an asset.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with basic accounting concepts.
- Exemplary Excel and modeling skills.
- Deep analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience assisting with financial and operational due diligence procedures would be considered an asset.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Previous experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Business Central would be an asset.
