**BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST**
**If you are looking to support a dynamic division in the marine sector, McKeil Marine Limited has a full-time permanent position based out of our Burlington office location. Reporting to the Director, Continuous Improvement, you will serve as the liaison between the Business, IT team, and the Fleet Management Software (FMS) vendor to ensure the system is always meeting the needs of users. Our FMS supports the day-to-day activities for more than 20 vessels, 200 users and all Operational functions including Maintenance, Purchasing, HSQE, and Crewing.

**Key Duties/Accountabilities**
- Provide help-desk assistance to users which includes triaging, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end-user help requests, escalating issues as necessary, ensuring a solution is delivered according to SLA guidelines.
- Liaise with Vendor to identify root cause of system related errors and issues, escalating issues as necessary, ensuring a solution is delivered according to SLA guidelines.
- Liaise with IT team to identify root cause of technology related errors and issues.
- Identify ticket trends, determine root cause, and recommend solutions.
- Pro-actively monitor replication and interface processes.
- Maintain and improve system training programs and materials (including FAQs).
- Maintain documentation of system infrastructure and supporting processes and policies.
- Manage and communicate system maintenance schedules.
- Ownership of the system’s change management process.
- Notify module owners and experts of changes to system infrastructure (from patches and other upgrades).
- Perform day-to-day administration of FMS system.
- Manage data import, data cleansing, duplication, optimization, and data maintenance efforts.
**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Computer technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Background in continuous improvement is an asset.
- Strong marine or transportation/logistics background and understand the operational functions of a marine transportation company is an asset.
**Skills, Knowledge, and Required Competencies**
Be very detailed oriented.

- Advanced skills in MS excel.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Eagerness to learn new and varied technologies and business processes on the job.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal direction.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Technical knowledge of how systems are built and the technical infrastructure they run on, including client/server or cloud environments is an asset.
