As the Senior Business Systems Analyst you will liaise between the team and business stakeholders for functionality enhancements and new developments. You will translate concepts and requirements into client‑focused system‑based solutions, formulating and defining system scope and objectives based on user needs and business applications. Technologies You Need Experience With Working knowledge of Agile, Acceptance Test Driven Development or Test Driven Development (ATDD/TDD). Guidewire suite: PolicyCenter or BillingCenter. JIRA, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence or similar tools. Key Responsibilities Facilitate discussions with business partners to collect, document and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules, and processes for complex projects. Guide assessment of technical design solutions and act as intermediary between the team and business stakeholders. Perform detailed data analysis, data modeling, mapping and flow to support system functionality, integrations and conversions. Develop the user acceptance test plan, strategies and lead overall testing activities for medium to large initiatives. Lead continuous improvement of the BSA practice through research, process enhancements and guidance to teammates. Qualifications Five years of experience in Information Technology or related field. Post‑secondary education in Information Technology or related discipline. Advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC methodologies, process tools and Lean improvement techniques. Experience in an insurance environment is an asset. Success Characteristics Innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and influence change with a client‑focused approach. Critical thinking to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and propose proactive solutions. Strong communication skills to convey messages clearly and explore diverse viewpoints. Ability to build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support colleague development.
