**Summary**

Working within a community of disciplines (e.g. IT Operations, IT Enterprise Applications, the Project Management Office, various Champion business units, and diverse consultants), the IT Business Reporting Analyst must be an excellent communicator and be able to synthesize many views of problems into cohesive solutions. The IT Business Reporting Analyst will be the principal resource in managing the full lifecycle of the design & development of business intelligence projects, including requirements gathering, customer & vendor relationships, technical development, status reporting, implementation, quality assurance, and testing.

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, this position is located in the Champion corporate office and requires some travel to other Champion locations.

**Responsibilities**
- Safeguard the data integrity of the Enterprise Applications environment by managing the development, testing, and implementation of solutions.
- Perform technical development using a variety of technologies (Power BI, SQL, SSRS, ETL, Excel, & more)
- Develop excellent working relationships with Champion business units, vendors, and a variety of consultants.
- Write SQL queries, procedures, views etc. to support various data strategies
- Troubleshoot & support data and reporting problems, ensure the appropriate resources are engaged in resolution, and follow-up on incidents.
- Provide guidance to management on the strategic and tactical use of business intelligence tools and strategies for today and the future.
- Write and maintain documents related to design, implementation, and operating practices.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with data warehouse design and architecture, with a proven ability to refine data and transform it into useful information.
- Experience in reporting development using a variety of tools & programming languages (Power BI,.NET, SQL)
- Experience with the Infor suite of products (e.g. M3, MEC (M3-E-collaborator) XM, d/EPM, Birst, Stream Serve, Infor OS) considered an asset.
- Experience using software methodologies (both waterfall and agile) through the entire software lifecycle.
- Ability to manage numerous tasks of varying scale and priority.
- Strong analytical abilities, with ability to identify problems, determine issues, and implement solutions, often within a time sensitive framework.
- Good planning skills, including ability to organize, prioritize, and execute within a time sensitive framework.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to clearly communicate ideas and proposals and to discuss technical issues with non-technical clients.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus and integration methodologies supporting an assortment of enterprise on-premise and cloud-based platforms considered an asset
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful professional working relationships with internal departments, key managers, and other stakeholders to further corporate business goals.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License (other than motorcycle), with ability to travel between the Company’s locations and willingness to accept temporary assignment(s) to additional Company locations.
- Ability to be accessible as required (via company cell phone) to provide after hours support to corporate employee end-users as required.
