- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- **Job Description and Responsibilities**:

- Opening and closing of the In-Room Dining Department
- Greet guests and processing of their orders--relay to kitchen and bar staff
- Preparation In-Room Dining tables and trays
- Serving specialty foods/beverage at guests’ tables
- Clearing of tables and trays from guest rooms and hallways to the Stewarding Area
- Cash integrity and cash out functions
- All duties will be performed in accordance with the Fairmont Empress’ commitment to luxury service standards

**Employment Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Completion of secondary school
- A minimum of one year experience as a Server or completion of a one
- or two-year apprenticeship program or College courses
- Broad liquor and wine knowledge
- Must have “Serving it Right” and “Food Safe” certifications, or willingness to obtain certifications before employment start date
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including standing/walking for extended periods of time, performing repetitive work, lifting and carrying full trays
