Catering Event Chef

Surrey, Canada Sheila's Catering Co. Full time

This position is for event chef. Duties including prep, set up, quality control, plating, food service. Additionally, this position is responsible for recording all temperatures of food storage units and ensuring the health and safety of customers or staff is never at risk. Must have vehicle to travel to different event in the Lower Mainland. Saturdays are typically the day we need this position to be fulfilled. Proper training, support and mentorship will be provided.

Qualifications:

- 5 years experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Food safe certificate.
- Valid drivers license with a clean abstract.
- High standard of grooming.
- Ability to work alone or in a team atmosphere.
- Able to follow standard recipes as well as adapt to the clients needs when required.
- An eye for food quality and detail.
- Great communication skills both verbal and written.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
