Fresh4Sunset, our Greenhouse partner located in Delta, BC is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The essential function of this position is to provide support and execute the recruitment & selection and employee relations functions of Greenhouse.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Schedule and interview job applicants; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicants’ qualifications
- Prepare job offer paperwork
- Track recruitment efforts
- Manage employee relations including acting as a liaison between employees and management
- Participate in company events, town halls and training sessions
- Provide advice, assistance, coaching and follow-up on company policies, procedures and documentation
- Coordinate the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural inquiries
- Conduct investigations
- Utilize human resource databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems
- Monitor implementation of policies and oversee compliance
- Assist in the planning and execution of new company initiatives and policies
- Work in conjunction with other HR team members to ensure Quality of Service

**Education/Background Requirements**:

- University or College required, HR degree preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in HR related work and at least two years recruiting experience required
- Number of years of experience and if it is required or desired
- CHRP or CHRL preferred

**Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Payroll processing
- Knowledge of Human Resources Disciplines, Employment Standards Act, Privacy and Human Rights Laws
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated confidentiality with employee and company information

**Working Conditions**:

- Normal office environment
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills

**Salary range is $55k/yr-$60k/yr CAD
