Certified Medical Device Reprocessing Technician certificate from an accredited college, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Group, Medical Device Reprocessing Association of Ontario (MDRAO), or equivalent - in good standing (re-certification every 5 years)
- Two years’ recent experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing Department
- Sound knowledge of the principles of decontamination, reprocessing, sterilization, and sterile storage and distribution
- Demonstrates Medical/surgical product knowledge
- Demonstrates good, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, organization, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to make quick assessments to establish timely priorities in a very fast-paced department
- Experience with case cart systems
- Demonstrates English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Utilize the protective equipment provided and identify and reports hazards
- Engages in ethical conduct and strives to understand and appreciate the diversity of our patient/staff population and community
- Strong work ethic and commitment are required
- Demonstrated high standards of work outputs
- Demonstrated professionalism and reliability

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
