The **Manager of Wellness** is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents through the strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members.

This is a **Permanent Full-Time** position.

Schedule**:Mon-Fri OR Tues-Sat**

Hours**:9am - 5pm**

Salary**:$72,000 - $75,000 **annual salary

As a Manager of Wellness your typical day will impact in the following ways:

- Ensuring resident care needs are assessed, determine corresponding care fees and staffing requirements as applicable.
- Assessing the needs of individual residents and developing their personal service plans in accordance with Assisted Living Regulations; communicates deployment to wellness team members and directs team members regarding interventions.
- Working with the Regional Manager of Wellness Services to implement established policies and procedures with the objective of ensuring that desirable standards are met.
- Managing team members in accordance with policies, legislation, applicable collective agreement or employee association agreement.
- Developing professional and collaborative relationship with hospital team members, participate in marketing outreach such as presentations on wellness services and aging in place philosophy, and interviews prospective residents and conducts assessments to determine suitability for admission.
- Participating in the preparation of the Department budget and administering the approved budget within established parameters.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Must haves:

- Current registration with the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation and/or retirement living.
- Must possess excellent supervisory and leadership abilities in the areas of human resources.
- Must express initiative, good judgment and foster a positive work atmosphere.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check & Criminal Records Check.
