As a Content Specialist you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and guiding engaging content relevant to our diverse audience. You will be responsible for developing innovative themes, concepts, and key messages for lifestyle and brand campaigns, ensuring they align seamlessly with our business goals and resonate effectively with our target audiences. From trend analysis to content deployment, you will oversee the content creation process, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to maintain creative consistency across all channels.

**As the Content Specialist you will**:
Strategically formulate themes, concepts, and key messages for lifestyle and brand campaigns that seamlessly align with organizational objectives and resonate effectively with target audiences.

Conduct trend, market and competitor research to curate a content plan that is relevant to the industry and the Dufresne audiences.

Oversee the campaign process from ideation to asset deployment. This includes advising channel owners on major themes and overseeing execution to ensure consistency across all channels.

Craft compelling blog and lifestyle web content, collaborating closely with the SEO team to optimize content for maximum organic traffic and visibility.

Be responsible creating blog KPIs and report on ongoing performance.

Proof and provide copy support where needed to ensure successful messaging execution.

Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

2+ years in a copywriting, content specialist or similar role.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality assurance.

Solid understanding of digital marketing principals, creative tactics, best practices and retail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both formal and informal) with strong attention to detail.

Experience developing brand content strategies.

Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and planning skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Ability to lead by example through positive behaviour and problem-solving skills.
