**Digital Content Specialist Intern**

Full-Time Summer Internship (Part-Time April, Full-Time May-August)

Birchwood is excited to offer an immediate opportunity for a Digital Content Specialist Intern to join our dynamic content and social media team. In this role, you’ll produce engaging written, photo, and video content tailored to the automotive industry while contributing to Birchwood’s marketing strategies.

This is a hybrid position, with part-time hours in-office and remote during April and full-time hours from May to August. It’s a hands-on opportunity to bring Birchwood’s brand to life, supporting key marketing and communication objectives.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Create and publish engaging social media and web content aligned with Birchwood’s content strategies.
- Coordinate content scheduling, including scheduling posts and writing captions, coordinating photo and video shoots with Birchwood dealerships and working with external vendors.
- Assist in maintaining Birchwood’s brand voice across all digital platforms.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Currently enrolled in or completing a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or Creative Communications.
- Strong understanding of content best practices with a passion for branding, content strategy, and modern design.
- Skills in:

- Copywriting: Writing platform-specific copy that conveys a consistent brand tone.
- Photography & Videography: Basic photography, video shooting, and photo editing skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an aptitude for storytelling through audio, video, and written formats.
- Experience with social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is an asset.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid 5F driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
