**The Role**
The Brand Manager will be responsible for growing supplier brands through opportunity, collaboration, and joint planning. As a category expert, you will maintain brand insight by keeping a pulse on the target consumer, market trends, product category and our competitors. You will also be the single point of contact for Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, and the Supplier to ensure the brand’s integrity and budget is maintained.
**Your Impact**
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting supplier relationships to understand and meet their business needs while being profitable to the business.
- Clearly articulate the supplier’s brand strategy across all internal channels and making sure all parties involved have a clear understanding and insight into the target audience and market; and collaborate with multiple departments to maintain brand consistency.
- Participate in the development of an annual business plan with the supplier to set brand strategy, guidelines, vision, and value proposition.
- Champion the execution and coordination of the annual business plan with the internal sales and marketing team; ensuring profitable sales and keeping the supplier informed of the results.
- Analyze and communicate the results of marketing and sales initiatives to the supplier; and present recommendations if adjustment to the business plan is needed.
- Act as the point person for budgeting and ensuring investment is allocated appropriately to projects/activations; and ensure supplier expenses are charged back according to the contract.
- Liaise with the internal procurement team to ensure supplier inventory levels are adequately maintained to meet the demands of the through forecasting and assisting when it comes to negotiating supplier pricing.
- Negotiate price change commodity with suppliers that benefits all parties and accounts for commodity fluctuation.
- Act as a category expert to the sales team when it comes to sales targets, promotions for the retail accounts, pricing strategy, listing strategy and the overall communication of the brand strategy and support sales team when meeting with retail customers.
- Partner with the sales team to plan and execute promotional plans and marketing initiatives.
- Keep abreast of market trends and competition by monitoring and identifying opportunities, risks and resources required to maximize the brands sales growth; and communicate fact-based recommendations to internal teams and the supplier when shifts occur that will impact the brands position in the market.
- Oversee and maintain the sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and our competitors.
- Participate in the planning and presenting of the brand’s annual business review to the Management Team and supplier.
- Create digital, print, graphic, and label designs in accordance with brand guidelines using Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom, etc.) and Canva.
- Contribute to organizations design process, providing feedback and recommendation on design.
- Operate within continual feedback loops; positively respond to internal constructive feedback commentary and requests.
- Collaborate with the product team and marketing team to align design with intended outcomes.
**About You**
- You have 2-3 years of experience building and managing brand strategies; additionally, you have 2-3 years of experience planning and executing events. Prior experience at a consumer goods company preferred but not required.
- Are a natural storyteller, communicator, and love to collaborate with others
- Solid graphic design experience. Have previously used Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Canva.

- Degree, diploma or equivalent in Marketing or Business.
