Red Deer, Canada The Coverall Shop Full time

The Coverall Shop is looking for a talented, personable team member for our Red Deer location. We are one of Western Canada's largest distributors of flame resistant apparel, supplying oil and gas and industrial workers with flame resistant work wear and personal protective equipment. Other products and services that we offer our clients include, coverall cleaning and repairs, corporate apparel and promotional products, as well as professional cresting and embroidery.

Our operation is VERY FAST PACED and we are seeking someone who thrives in this type of environment...there is never a dull moment and we are hoping to grow our team with some more great people
- ship and receive all products as required
- update status of inbound and outbound orders in company ERP system
- contact carriers to obtain quotes, make arrangements, and to create and issue documents for shipping and delivery of goods
- provide final quality control check of all outbound orders before packing
- coordinate packing and shipping of all customer orders, which can include assembly of packages, weighing them and otherwise preparing them for pick up
- resolve discrepancies between orders and goods received, as well as issues with condition, quality, etc
- accurately count inbound and outbound shipments
- perform general housekeeping duties in respective area of work
- other tasks as required
- have a positive attitude with a focus on successful client outcomes
- work well as a part of team, with the ability to collaborate
- have high attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities
- have experience in shipping and receiving and knowledge of all major couriers
- have general knowledge of computer systems for online courier booking, MS Word, Outlook, etc
- be physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including regularly lifting up to 40 lbs
- have a Class 5 driver's license
- be mature, honest, trustworthy and responsible
- be willing to work in a VERY fast paced environment
- be looking for permanent full time work
