**Responsibilities and Duties**

Maintain a positive public image of the company with appropriate personal conduct and by operating company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional, and courteous manner
- Create a positive and rewarding customer experience
- Assist with loading/unloading materials to and from delivery trucks with compact loader, skid steer, moffett, or by hand up to 50lbs
- Assist with customer transactions on POS system as needed
- Prepare delivery orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with delivery team to ensure deliveries completed
- Care for company vehicles and equipment to company standards, and complete daily maintenance, inspections, and cleaning
- Report all deficiency or damage immediately
- Monitor traffic flow on company premises to ensure safety
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Participate and comply in Rocklands Health and Safety program
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- High School Diploma and 1-2 years of retail sales experience
- 1-2 years of experience in operating skid steer and compact loader
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Neat appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and at times with little to no supervision
- Ability to be a team player and contribute to the success of the Rockland team

**Tickets and Training**
- WHMIS certification
- Loader/Skid steer training
- POS training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Skid steer: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (preferred)
- Compact loader: 1 year (preferred)
