At MagGas you will join our talented and energetic team and play an essential role in providing quality support and patient centered care. As a valuable team member, you will play an integral role in continuing the success of community respiratory care.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Responding to all telephone inquiries and retrieving and returning messages
- Planning and coordinating patient hospital discharges
- Processing forms for insurance and government claims
- CRM data entry
- Process patients accounts receivable and payable (credit card, debit, cheque & cash payments), when required
- On-going communication with healthcare professionals
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
**Qualifications / Requirements**:
- 2 - 3 years of medical office administrator experience
- Completion of post-secondary education or combination of administrative experience or related field
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills with the goal of helping patients access services to improve their health
- A team player who works well with others
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Able to multitask while working & thriving in a busy environment
- Careful attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethics
