**Company**:
We are seeking a full-time a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team on-site in Waterloo, Canada. This role will be integral in managing purchasing orders, bookkeeping, lab safety documentation, and assisting in lab renovations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage purchasing orders, communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate procurement records.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including invoice processing, expense tracking and financial record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintain safety documentation and coordinate safety training for lab personnel.
- Assist in the planning and execution of lab renovations, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project completion.
- Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring necessary supplies are available and replenished on time.
- Provide administrative support to employees as needed to ensure seamless daily operations.

**Required qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, bookkeeping, or operational support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of lab safety protocols is an asset.
- Experience in coordinating construction or renovation projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
