As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced **Shipping Coordinator **to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide a superb customer experience.

**Position Overview**:
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for supporting the outbound shipping activities such as (LTL & FTL truck, courier & ocean), preparing and completing all shipping paperwork ensuring completeness and accuracy, coordinating with warehouse staff to stage products for shipping, communicating with internal/external customers, and enter information in the ERP, WMS systems and shipping websites.

This position will report to the Shipping & Receiving Manager.

**What you will be doing**:

- Responsible for all activities related to outbound traffic (truck courier & ocean)
- Lead the other shipping coordinator to ensure all requirements are met
- Prepare and complete all shipping paperwork and documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Coordinate warehouse staff to accurately stage products and oversee the loading of trucks
- Meet on-time submission requirements of advance ship notifications using various systems
- Facilitate daily hand-off with the afternoon Shipping & Receiving Supervisor
- Coordinate with the Inventory team to obtain products for on-time shipping and escalate as required
- Maintain shipping records, including tracking and shipping history in support of our customers
- Coordinate with the Inventory team to obtain products for on-time shipping and escalate as required
- Support external and internal customers as needed
- All other duties as assigned

**What you bring along**:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Shipping and Receiving required, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum Grade 12 High School Diploma required
- Must possess some computer and/or data entry skills; experience with ERP & WMS systems is preferred
- Superior attention to detail is essential
- Thorough understanding of best practices in inventory management, warehousing, shipping, and receiving
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and oral) and the ability to effectively communicate across various departments
- Excellent time management, analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Counterbalance forklift license is an asset
