Shipping Coordinator
to join our team.

What you will do:

The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the outbound shipping activities such as LTL & FTL truck, courier, and ocean. They will prepare and complete all shipping paperwork ensuring completeness and accuracy, coordinating with warehouse staff to stage products for shipping, communicating with internal/external customers, and entering information in the ERP systems and shipping websites.

Responsibilities:

· Determine methods of shipments, coordinate and schedule truck pick-ups and deliveries, examine outgoing shipments, and continue to track shipments to ensure that specifications are met.

· Develop and maintain a comprehensive shipping database and verify the accuracy of all records for shipping-related documentation.

· Prepare and complete all shipping paperwork and documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy.

· Assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

· Prepare weekly shipping reports ad-hoc for the Warehouse Manager.

· Liaise with various departments to resolve any shipping discrepancies and/or issues.

· Make recommendations on shipping procedures, policies and processes.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Shipping and Receiving required, ideally in a manufacturing environment.


• 3+ years of experience working with Amazon/UPS Portals, SPS etc.


• Possess computer and/or data entry skills.


• Experience with Excel, NetSuite & Rf-Smart systems is preferred


• Thorough understanding of best practices in inventory management, warehousing, shipping, and receiving


• Excellent attention to detail


• Experience collaborating with various areas within an organization and with all levels of team members such as Logistics, Sales and Procurement


• Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting


• Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment of shifting priorities


• Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
