Envirosphere Consultants Limited is an environmental consulting company servicing the Atlantic provinces, based in Windsor, Nova Scotia. Envirosphere Labs, a division of Envirosphere Consultants Ltd., is an accredited water testing lab offering drinking water analysis to mainland Nova Scotia. The water lab has grown, and we are seeking a part-time sample reception and data entry coordinator.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Friendly and professional interaction with the public in person and via telephone.
- Logging samples into the database in a methodical and organized manner.
- Microbiological sample analysis.
- Maintain laboratory logbooks and operation of some laboratory equipment.
- Conducting routine office and clerical activities; filing, invoicing, labelling bottles.
**Qualifications**:
- Detail oriented with exceptional organization skills.
- Professional conduct, strong communication skills.
- Must follow direction from supervisors (Lab Director and Lab Manager).
- Exercise good judgement with effective multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to adapt to variable situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Science background or experience is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive.
- Ownership of a vehicle and/or reliable transportation to the workplace is required.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
