**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Cooking; (meal preparation is done 3 times daily for upwards of 20 residents)
- Housekeeping
- Supervising residents and providing individuals assistance in their daily living
- Document interaction with residents in accordance with company policy
- Respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests for assistance with daily living
- Successful applicants will be fully trained on fire safety and fire evacuation policy with accordance to city laws.
- Communicate directly with management in a timely fashion, following company policies and procedures.
- Successful applicants must be people-oriented with excellent communication skills and common sense. Experience in Supportive housing and Mental Health an asset

**Skills**
- Proven experience in related fields such as group home or assisted living environments.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary requirements for various health conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate approach towards resident support, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
- Capability of performing heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
