**Job description - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable**

The Role:

- Accounts Payable including preparing bank deposits.
- Accounts Receivable.
- Matching and Clearing payments from Customers.
- Receive and verify invoices.
- Accurately code and enter invoices into Sage.
- Reconciling Vendor and Credit Card statements monthly.
- Investigate and independently correct internal and external discrepancies.
- Communicate with Vendors regarding payment.
- Monitor bank and credit card balances and initiate payments as required,
- Assist with various administrative and accounting functions as required.
- Assist with collections when required.
- Filing invoices and other documents on a regular basis.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Participates in the Month End closing process.
- Answer phone calls.
- 2+ years in a related AP position
- Some post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to handle 200+ transactions per day.
- Minimum 1 year Sage experience is required along with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective in meeting deadlines.
- Superior data entry skills.
- Must be analytically inclined with superior prioritization skills.
- Previous experience in a multi-company role is desired.
- Superior communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $38,000.00 DOQ
