Vickar Auto Group is recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Corporate Office team.

JOB DUTIES:

- Ensure invoices are properly received (eg date-stamped, sorted) and have appropriate supporting documentation (eg purchase orders, approvals)
- Properly code and post invoices
- Match invoices to statements
- Research missing invoices or invoices with no detail
- Ensure all payables are reconciled and paid in a timely manner
- Maintain monthly expense analysis spread sheets
- Prepare various on-demand cheques

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong organizational skills
- Formal accounting training/education with minimum of 1 year hand-on work in Accounts Payable OR comparable work experience
- Skilled with the use of word processing and spreadsheet software
- Experience with CDK software an asset
