**Position Details**
The Indigenous Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following:
**Administer day-to-day operations** by offering comprehensive administrative support to the NCEWIL program and Career Bridge Centre partners (students, staff and faculty, employers, government, and community groups).
- Manage phone inquiries
- Schedule appointments
- Handle front desk responsibilities (student inquiries, greeting employers, data entry)
- Database work as required
**Assist with the implementation** of the NCEWIL program strategic priorities
- Collaborate with the Academic Director, NCEWIL Instructor, and Employment Navigators to facilitate, administer, and promote the NCEWIL program
- Event registration and organization
- Book travel as required
- Organize Elder support for the committee as required
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and manage TEAMS files
- Sending informational letters and phone calls
- Organize meetings with NCEWIL Instructor and PAC committee members
- Careful budget tracking and reporting
**Facilitate the implementation of work-integrated learning (**WIL**)** best practice in the terms of reference for the PAC
- Organize WIL instructional material for presentations and events
- Collaborate with Career Bridge Events and Comms position to develop and order NCEWIL marketing materials
- Assist in WIL recruitment Initiatives for students and employer partners
**Position Qualifications**
- The successful applicant must have:
- College Diploma (Administrative Office Professional, or equivalent)
- 1 - 2 yeas of experience
- Effective communication skills, self-directed, strong technical skills (Microsoft Suite), strong organizational skills, and motivated
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action
Preference will be given to an applicant that has:
- A Bachelors Degree
- 3 - 5 yeas of experience
- Database experience (FOIP &DRUPAL)
- Identifies as local indigenous person
- A Blackfoot language speaker
**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,741.00 - $4,163.00 monthly
**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,741.00 - $4,584.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 7)
