**Position Details**
- The Manager of Indigenous Learning & Impact position is a part of the ULethbridge EleV Mastercard Foundation program and is an integral part of the University of Lethbridge’s commitment to Indigenization, reconciliation, and providing an inclusive post-secondary education environment working in partnership with the Blackfoot Confederacy.

Reporting to the Director, Iniskim Indigenous Relations, the Manager of Indigenous Learning & Impact oversees the coordination and ongoing delivery of the Mastercard Foundation project, including adhering to the Mastercard Foundation reporting guidelines and policies, as well as establishing a EleV Engagement Strategy that will set forth recommendations for what a Phase 2 of the partnership will look like. This position will work alongside EleV program leads, Indigenous community partners, students and Elders to articulate and amplify the program activities and the resulting impact. This will include illustrating promising practices, engaging youth and communities in story-telling and bringing data and learning back to community.

The Manager of Indigenous Learning & Impact will gather information that will be used for reporting back to the Mastercard Foundation, and to illustrate what is working individually and systemically through the EleV Partnership initiatives, and in turn, how these can become sustainable and embedded in both institutional and community priorities.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

**Position Qualifications**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Responsible for the oversight of the MCF EleV Partnership and leading the evaluation and reporting process for the program, including annual mid-year and year-end reports.
- Provide strategic direction on special projects of the MCF ULethbridge EleV project to the Director, Iniskim Indigenous Relations, bringing together Indigenous faculty, staff, students and allies from across campus to advance UofL’s commitments to Indigenous achievement and engagement.
- Attend MCF ULethbridge EleV project monthly check-ins and provide monthly updates on progress of the partnership.
- Co-Lead with Indigenous Insights in the development and implementation of the EleV Engagement Strategy to support the re-view and re-visioning of the partnership between the Blackfoot Confederacy, Indigenous youth, and the EleV project at the University of Lethbridge.
- Develop a workplan plan that outlines the key activities, timelines, and deliverables to support the goal of this work focusing on community engagement, priority setting, learning, and evaluation, involving both internal university stakeholders and local Blackfoot Confederacy communities. The result of this work will be a partnership action plan that will identify activities with the allocation of funds and resources.
- Develop and sustain meaningful relationships within the Blackfoot Confederacy and other Indigenous communities to support and recommend beneficial strategies, programs and services that align with the needs and aspirations of these communities for Phase 2 of the partnership.
- Implement a Community Engagement Plan which will include survey tools, environmental scan, and other engagement methods including in person conversations and gatherings to gather data from internal and external partners as part of the larger EleV Engagement Strategy.
- Develop and compile a final report for the EleV Engagement Strategy, including recommendations and an Action Plan for Phase 2.
