Kintel General Contractors is hiring a full-time bookkeeper. The position is available immediately for an experienced person to work in and with the accounting department of a growing General Contractor/Home Builder Company based in the Vaughan area. We have a great friendly environment. Our team is close and always willing to help each other grow and reach new goals.

The successful applicant will have:

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Full Cycle Accounting. Experience with A/P, A/R, bank & G/L reconciliation and payroll.
- Experience in all areas of full cycle accounting, financial reporting and analysis, monthly statements, and balance sheets. Preparing reports for management.
- Understanding, preparing, and remitting Ontario Government remittances such as HST, Employee tax deductions, WSIB, T4’s, T5’s, EHT, etc.
- Must have strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- General ledger reconciliations including bank accounts and clearing accounts.
- Must have an excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new software systems.
- Proficiency with Excel and MS Word
- Superior communication skills (written & oral English).
- Willing to learn from and assist other team members, strong Interpersonal skills.
