Duties

  • Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions.
  • Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock levels to optimize sales and profitability.
  • Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Conduct sales management activities such as setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and motivating staff.
  • Oversee cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and enforce store policies related to merchandising, pricing, and store presentation.
  • Manage budgets and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
  • Organize staff schedules, conduct interviews, and participate in hiring decisions.

Skills

  • Proven leadership with supervising experience in retail or similar environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and interact effectively with customers.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, merchandising, POS systems, purchasing, and cash handling.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities preferred for better customer engagement.
  • Excellent organizational skills with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Experience in retail sales management, marketing strategies, and sales growth initiatives.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, training & development processes, and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to analyze sales data using math skills for strategic decision-making.
