Assistant General Manager

Location: The Irish Harp Pub, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Year-Round

The Irish Harp Pub is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Owner, this vital role will oversee daily operations, ensuring a superior guest experience and efficient management of front-of-house staff.

**Responsibilities**:
Oversee day-to-day business operations.

Maintain and control costs, including inventory levels and labour management.

Evaluate, train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to employees.

Manage front-of-house staff to create a welcoming and efficient customer experience.

Address and resolve customer complaints professionally.

Ensure front-of-house organization, cleanliness, and compliance with sanitation standards.

Prepare and maintain staff schedules to meet business demands.

Complete and maintain all required paperwork and reports.

Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and government regulations, including public health and safety.

Identify and correct unsafe practices or conditions.

Adapt to the evolving needs of the business and management team.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory role or equivalent.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in reading, writing, basic math, and technical communication.

Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to work varied schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits:
