Our work can be found in many high profiled projects across the Greater Toronto Area, as we are driven to exceed expectations and create a uniquely positive customer experience. We are currently hiring an Show room Countertops Sales Representative to join our team. We are actively looking to hire positive and motivated individuals that have experience in the fabrication and knowledge of the different types of natural stones used for commercial and residential projects. The Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for implementing a sales process that will provide product knowledge and solutions to each project. This individual will be able to use measurements provided by a potential client and produce quotes based on the materials identified. Ultimately, Stone Port needs an individual who will display the ability to think "outside of the box" to develop innovative solutions to current and future projects, and build trust to push the sales process forward. **_Job Requirements As Showroom Stone Countertops Sales Representative_** - Existing contacts with Architects, Interior Designers and Builders will be considered a major asset - At least 3 years working in the natural stone and fabrication industry - Sales experience in the residential and commercial interior finishes industry - Must have record of success in prospecting, identifying and specifying products for residential and commercial projects - Must have achieved a minimum of $500,000 in gross sales **_Key Responsibilities As Showroom Stone Countertops Sales Representative_** - Identify prospective clients that fit within established sales strategy - Proactively prospect Architects, Interior Designers and Builders. - Manage ongoing prospecting process to gauge the long-term fit - Research potential construction projects, introducing our capabilities and portfolio - Effectively communicate where and how Stone Port can add value to a project - Handle incoming inquiries and determine needs, provide quotes, and provide samples of products - Monitor the competition by gathering information on their products, pricing and other related issues - Recommend changes by evaluating results and information received from marketplace - Resolve client issues by being proactive in the sales process - Reach sales goals by their deadlines and execute corrective measures when sales results deviate - Remain current with the latest trends and innovations - Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with associations to promote Stone Port. - Maintain professional and technical knowledge - Ensure correct usage of CRM **_Personal characteristics: _** - Effective and articulate verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. - Ability to attain and surpass sales targets. - Knowledge of CRM would be considered an asset. - Good time management skills with ability to handle a high volume of activity and work. **_Education: _** - A university degree or college diploma would be considered an asset. **_Compensation: _** - We offer a competitive base salary and an attractive commission & bonus **_Job Type: _** - Full-time position **_Job Location: _** - Toronto, Ontario **_Required language: _** - Fluent in English Flexible Language Requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Bonus pay - Commission pay Ability to commute/relocate: - North York, ON M6B3Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you work on stone industry ? **Experience**: - sales: 3 years (required) - Customer service: 3 years (required)
