**What you’ll be doing**:
Conducting comprehensive client assessments to gather history and identify areas of concern for therapeutic interventions
- Developing and documenting individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery and work reintegration
- Providing individual and group therapy using evidence-based methods, including CBT, Mindfulness, and CPT
- Offering support with daily living, employment, and social relationships, while advocating for clients’ self-determination
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination and continuity
- Participating in meetings for treatment planning, client reviews, and discharge planning
- Contributing to program evaluations, research, and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentoring and supervising students or interns, supporting their development in addiction counselling
**What you bring**:
- Master’s degree of Social Work, Counselling or Psychology
- Registration with applicable regulatory College
- Experience with facilitating evidence-based therapy groups and individual psychotherapy
- Knowledge of standardized and non-standardized assessments
- Assessment of group dynamics and facilitation skills for group therapy
- Service specific training i.e., wellness education, knowledge of issues of trauma, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Recovery, CBT, DBT, CPR, Mental Health Act, PHIPA, knowledge of concurrent addiction disorders for specific addiction assessment tools
- Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication and customer service delivery skills
- Demonstrated success working independently as well as contributing actively to team objectives
