Job Title: Regional Manager - Orthodontics/Dental Operations
**Job Type**: Full Time; Permanent
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Operational Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of dental clinics within the region
- Ensure each location complies with RCDSO, PHIPA, and IPAC standards
- Implement and standardize operational protocols, policies, and workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation
Team Development & HR Support
- Hire, train, mentor, and support clinic managers and administrative leads
- Provide coaching and performance management to ensure high-performing teams
- Support clinics with staffing issues, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Ensure all team members adhere to HR policies and Ontario labor laws
Financial & Business Management
- Monitor clinic KPIs including revenue, expenses, production, collections, and patient retention
- Analyze financial and operational reports to identify growth opportunities and cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting
- Drive performance-based goals across locations (e.g., hygiene productivity, treatment acceptance rates)
Patient Experience & Quality Assurance
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality patient experience across all locations
- Review and respond to escalated patient concerns or complaints professionally
- Conduct regular audits of compliance, documentation, and patient satisfaction
- Support clinics in managing recall systems and case acceptance strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, HR, compliance, and clinical leadership to align operational goals
- Lead or support the launch of new clinic locations or renovations
- Participate in strategic planning with senior leadership
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of experience in multi-site healthcare or dental management
- Post-secondary education in business, healthcare management, or a dental-related field.
- Strong knowledge of dental operations, billing practices, and ODA fee guide
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Proficient in dental software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong financial and analytical acumen
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the region
