**Job Type**: Full-Time
**Salary**: $60,000-80,000 CAD/year based on experience
Remote Work: Hybrid
First-round interviews will be conducted via Google video conference. Follow-up interviews will be held in our office, located in Oakville, ON.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Product Manager will be instrumental in the roll-out of new products and services from implementation through to post-launch analysis. The Product Manager will be a key player, driving change within the company to move us forward successfully in the marketplace.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps and develop data-driven approaches to existing product enhancements
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external users to execute on the product roadmap and functional solutions
- Create support and training documents for internal and external users
- Liaise with the Marketing department to ensure proper advertisement and positioning of new products
- Monitor and report on users’ reactions and feedback after launching
- Monitor product adoption, proactively identifying opportunities and making actionable recommendations to drive product uptake and user satisfaction
- Evaluate new market trends, assess the competitive landscape and make recommendations for how the product should evolve to win market share
- Manage and communicate project schedules, goals, and dependencies, and drive cross-functional initiatives
- Perform cross-functional and other duties as assigned and /or required from time to time
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- College Diploma or University Degree in related field or relevant work experience
- Technical Expertise: Understanding the technology behind the product is crucial to making informed decisions and communicating effectively with team members
- Strategic Thinking: Must have the ability to see the big picture and create long - term product strategies that align with the companies overall roadmap
- Market Knowledge: Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in order to continue to build successful products
- Data Driven: Must be comfortable with using data and analytics to make informed decisions, measure product performance/success based on KPIs such as adoption (conversion rate), and identify key areas for improvement
- Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey ideas, goals, and plans to various audiences including developers, partners, and management
- Understanding UX and UI principals - creating a wireframe/sketch (Sketch, Figma, Adobe)Financial Analysis/Impact - understand how to analyze the impact of product decisions on profitability and revenue
**Experience with the following tools would be an asset**:
- Powerpoint, Google Slides
- Excel, Google Sheets
- Survey Monkey or similar
- Excel, Tableau, Metabase, Google Analytics
- Familiarity with project management tools (We use Asana)
